For setting up folder and window access permission in QuickBooks desktop you need to follow these steps as follows-
· For installing QuickBooks desktop go
to intuit official website.
· Download the latest version of QuickBooks desktop.
· Open the downloaded file.
· Follow the instruction which you see
on screen in correct sequence and type your license product number.
· Now choose custom or Network option
as install type.
· Click on next and choose the option
of your company file you are sharing over the network.
· Follow the given instruction as shown
on screen and tap install to complete the process.
· To scanning your company file folder
go to the start menu and search Database.
· Navigate the QuickBooks database server manager.
· Now select the scan folder option to
continue the process.
· Choose the
location in which you wish to save your folder.
· Click on OK to continue.
· If any requirement you can add more
folders by adding add more folder.
· Click on scan option.
· Once done the process close it.
